hd C5CX

The hd C5CX is a 2 1⁄2-way passive compact loudspeaker featuring four 3″ woofers and a 3.5″ coaxial driver with 1″ tweeter with extended linear frequency response. It can be driven by any power amplifier, even without DSP, making the hd C5CX an ideal solution for decentralized or small sound reinforcement applications such as restaurants, conference rooms, or theaters. The hd C5CX can be easily and flexibly installed in a fixed location or used as a mobile unit. The hd C5CX can be easily swivelled and tilted using the discreet ball and socket wall mount, or mounted extremely close and inconspicuously to the surface to be fixed using the L-angle wall mount.

Internal terminal block connections ensure a tool-free and quick connection of the loudspeakers. The loudspeaker can be customized in all RAL colors and special lengths for optimum adaptation to the room architecture. If wall mounting is not possible, the speakers can be used with the optional 3/8″ threaded base plate and SpeakCON jack on a microphone stand.

Extremely powerful subwoofers of the hd Sub- or hd P-Series with up to 1800 W AES power handling capacity extend the low-frequency sound experience down to the infrasound range. The most elegant solution for extending the low-frequency range of the hd C Series is the super-flat hd Slim265 design subwoofer. Due to its low height of just 102 mm, it fits into any suspended ceiling, can be mounted on a wall or placed invisibly under a piece of furniture.
